Poetry by Heart happens on the last Wednesday of each month
(except August bank holiday and Christmas weeks)

In the HEART Centre Cafe,
Bennett Road, Headingley, Leeds LS6 3HN.

Start time 7:30 pm

Each month up to six poets have a 15 minute slot to perform their work. They receive no fee or expenses, and admission is free.

The readers may offer books for sale.

The cafe sells good food (try the cakes!), tea, coffee, wine and a good selection of bottled beers and cider.

Really looking forward to reading on Wednesday. I may even include a poem about cake (of the chocolate variety, of course) – John F
